THE LAKEHOUSE | WOY WOY BAY

The Lakehouse
Perched on the shores of Brisbane Waters at Woy Woy Bay, this substantial renovation reimagines a tired 1980s brick dwelling as a refined contemporary waterfront residence.
What was once inward-looking and heavy has been opened, lightened, and completely restructured to embrace its extraordinary setting. Expansive glazing, layered outdoor terraces, and a restrained material palette of stone, timber and dark cladding create a home that feels both grounded and sophisticated.
Living spaces now flow seamlessly to the water’s edge, with multiple zones for entertaining, relaxing, and connecting to the landscape. The infinity-edge pool and generous alfresco areas extend the architecture outward, dissolving the boundary between inside and out.
Designed to maximise natural light, privacy, and panoramic views, the home balances architectural clarity with everyday comfort — a calm, contemporary retreat embedded in its environment.
Location: Woy Woy Bay, Central Coast, NSW
